Patient transfer from Poland

Last weekend the central ambulance flight unit once again organized a short-term patient transportation from Poland to Austria. The patient and his next of kin from Krakow had decided on a move to Austria, due to the extraordinarily high standards of care there, and asked us for assistance in the coordination of the flight ambulance.

As early as a few hours after we received the order, an ambulance jet with corresponding medical equipment was made ready at the airport in order to transport the patient and his accompanying person securely and gently from John Paul II International Airport in Krakow to the airport in Innsbruck. After the trouble-free sequence of the move, the patient thanked us once again for the extremely fast provision of the ambulance aircraft.
