Dornier 328-100

The Dornier 328-100 ambulance aircraft combines several advantages for the benefit of sick patients. The generously proportioned cabin allows for the option of transporting several intensive care patients at the same time, or alternatively one patient, along with more than ten accompanying persons. A major advantage of the Dornier’s state-of-the-art turboprop engines is that they allow this exceptionally large ambulance aircraft to land on short runways at small regional airports. This means that long road journeys from the hospital to the airport (and vice versa) are not necessary.

Flight times for patient transports are kept short due to the aircraft's high-performance turboprop engines. This greatly benefits patients, as does the specially trained ambulance flight crew. Through flying daily ambulance missions, these men and women are highly experienced. It goes without saying that they can confidently deal with all situations on board.
