Beechcraft King Air 200

Description

The Beechcraft King Air 200 is one of the most widely deployed ambulance aircraft in the world. The cabin has enough space for a patient and one accompanying person. A special feature of this ambulance aircraft is its ability to land on extremely short runways of only a few hundred metres, thus landing as close as possible to the patient's destination. Thanks to its powerful turboprop engines, even regional micro-airports can therefore be easily accessed. The King Air 200 is particularly suitable for patient transfers over shorter distances.

Naturally, the medical equipment on board is of the highest standard – it is in no way inferior to that of a prestigious intensive care unit in a hospital. The accompanying crew, consisting of a doctor and a paramedic, is specially trained in the transport of patients in air ambulances and ensures the wellbeing of the patient and their companion throughout the journey – whether the flight is domestic or international.
